Indian Rupee recovers 7 paise against USD
Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Wednesday recovered by seven paise to settle at 73.57 against the US Dollar on the selling of US Dollars by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.
Declining by seven paise on Tuesday, the local unit improved by 9 paise to 73.55 in early trade and finished at 73.57, up by seven paise as compared to its previous close.
The domestic unit went up owing to the weak dollar against other world currencies amid a strong equity market, a broker said.
The rupee registered intra days high and low at 73.60 and 73.52 respectively, he added.
