Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Monday rose marginally by one paisa to 71.33 against the US Dollar on fresh selling of US Dollars by bankers and exporters, the dealers at the Forex Market said.

Tumbling down by 28 paise to 71.64 in early trade, the rupee erased earlier losses and ended positive at 71.33, up by one paisa as compared to its last close.

The domestic unit recorded day high and low at 71.65 and 71.32 respectively.

The Rupee improved owing to weak Dollar against other world currencies along with positive equity market, they added.
