Indian Rupee up by 12 paise against USD

Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Friday advanced by 12 paise at 72.98 on selling of the US Dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.

The local unit was seen stronger because of the weak dollar against other world currencies amid strong opening in the stock market.

The Rupee registered days high and low at 73.01 and 72.96 respectively.
