Indian Rupee up by 13 paise against USD

Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Wednesday gained further by 13 paise to 71.35 on brisk selling of US Dollars by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.

The local unit rose by 8 paise to 71.40 in opening trade.

During the day it advanced by 13 paise to close high at 71.35 as compared to its last close.

High oscillation was seen during the day as it registered days high and low at 71.49 and 71.39 respectively.

The Indian currency remained strong due to weak dollar against other world currencies along with rebounding equity market, they added.
