Indian Rupee up by 6 paise against USD

Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Monday moved up by six paise to close at 74.10 against the greenback on buying of US Dollars by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.

The local unit that opened on a flat note at 74.16, gained by six paise and closed strong at 74.10 as compared to its previous close.

The Rupee edged up owing to weak Dollar against other world currencies alongwith strong stock market, dealers added.

The rupee registered intra days high and low at 74.21 and 74.07 respectively, he added.
