Key Indian benchmark indices end lower on Wednesday
Mumbai, Apr 18 (IBNS): Key Indian benchmark indices, which had a good run until Tuesday, closed in negative territory for the first time in its 10th consecutive session on Wednesday.
BSE Sensex was down 63.38 points at 34,331.68 and NSE Nifty was down 22.50 points at 10,526.20.
Top gainers on Wednesday included ITC, Wipro, Bharti Airtel, Tata Steel, Adani Ports, Zee Entertainment, Ultratech Cement and GAIL while HPCL, Axis Bank, IndusInd Bank, Hero Motocorp, Coal India, Titan Company, Lupin, M&M and Tech Mahindra were some of the stocks that declined.
