Maruti Suzuki surpasses 1.5 million mark in total sales in 2016-17

New Delhi, Apr 1 (IBNS): Car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki India Limited on Saturday sold 139,763 units in March 2017.

This includes 127,999 units in the domestic market and 11,764 units in exports.

The company had sold a total of 129,345 units in March 2016.

With this, the company ended 2016-17 with its highest ever total sales of 1,568,603 units, a growth of 9.8%.

This comprises highest ever domestic sales of 1,444,541 units. The export sales were 124,062 units.
