Myntra witnesses 50% YoY growth in home category

Mumbai: The home category at e-commerce platform Myntra witnessed a 50% year-on-year surge in demand, ET reported.

In response to this impressive growth in the home category, the online retailer, known for its range from clothing to bed linens, plans to introduce over 50,000 new products and over 20 new brands in the home section to entice customers during the forthcoming festive season.

“As a leading fashion, beauty and lifestyle e-commerce platform, we are seeing a steady rise in demand for stylish and unique home products and with home decor taking center stage during the festive season in India we have strengthened the selection to cater to the home demands of our fashion-forward customers,” said Sharon Pais, Chief Business Officer, Myntra was quoted as saying by ET.

Myntra noted that the festive season offers a great chance for consumers to elevate their homes and elevate their kitchens with appliances, cookware, and dinnerware.

Brands listed on Myntra in the home category include Bombay Dyeing, Spaces, D’Decor, H&M Home, Starbucks, Anko, Philips, JC Collection, and Ellementary.
