New Delhi/IBNS: Nissan Motor India on Friday (Oct. 4) introduced the facelifted version of the Magnite in the Indian market, starting at an introductory price of Rs. 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

This refreshed model brings visual and interior enhancements to extend the lifespan of the current generation, though no changes have been made to the powertrain.

While the base price remains consistent with the outgoing version, these prices are only valid for the first 10,000 customers.

Deliveries of the new Magnite to buyers commenced on Saturday (Oct. 5), according to reports.

One of the key updates is the introduction of new variant names, with the top-spec Tekna+ turbo CVT model priced at Rs. 11.50 lakh (ex-showroom).

Externally, the new Magnite receives a more pronounced front grille with chrome accents, updated headlamps, a revised bumper featuring a faux skid plate, fog lamps, and new LED daytime running lights (DRLs).

Other design upgrades include 16-inch alloy wheels and refreshed tail lamps with LED signatures.

The compact SUV retains its original dimensions but adds a new "Sunrise Copper" colour option.

Inside, the cabin now features a refreshed two-tone design, new finishes on the door panels, ambient lighting, and two-tone leatherette seats.

In terms of features, the Magnite is equipped with an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 360-degree camera, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, wireless smartphone charging, a revamped seven-inch digital instrument cluster, automatic headlights, auto-dimming rearview mirror (IRVM), Type-C charging ports, a new key fob with remote functions, six airbags, three-point seatbelts, and electronic stability control, among others.

The new Nissan Magnite continues with the same engine options: a 1.0L naturally aspirated (NA) three-cylinder petrol engine delivering 72 hp and 96 Nm of torque, and a turbocharged version producing 100 hp and 160 Nm.

The NA engine is available with either a five-speed manual transmission (MT) or an automated manual transmission (AMT), while the turbocharged variant can be paired with either a five-speed MT or a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
