No Diwali Party for Aamir Khan in Mumbai
It has been a regular practice every year that, Aamir Khan hosts a Diwali bash at his residence in Mumbai.
The event is attended by the actor’s friends and loved ones, including the who’s who of Bollywood.
However, Aamir had to skip the party plan this time because he is not in town. The actor is currently shooting for a film in Ludhiana, Punjab.
“Every year, Aamir and Kiran host Diwali parties on the day of the festival and the next day. All of his friends from the industry, including Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Karan Johar, Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone and Rajkumar Hirani, among others, attend these parties. Kiran takes care of the décor of the house,” says a spokesperson, adding that when his friends got to know that there won’t be any parties this year, the actor was inundated with phone calls. “Aamir’s friends were disappointed, and even asked him to change his schedule,” added the spokesperson.
The actors family is currently Ludhiana.
The spokesperson confirms the news and added, “They had an intimate dinner and threw a small party there,”.
The PK Actor is currently busy shooting for his next-'Dangal', which is based on a life of a wrestler.
