Petrol, diesel prices hiked
The price of petrol was increased by Rs 2.21 per litre and diesel by Rs 1.79 per litre, offiicials said.
New prices will be effective from midnight tonight.
" Increase in Selling Price of Petrol by Rs. 2.21/litre (excluding State levies)," state-run Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IOC) said in a statement.
"Increase in Selling Price of Diesel by Rs. 1.79/litre (excluding State levies)," it said.
