Petrol, diesel prices slashed
New Delhi, May 16 (IBNS): Petrol and diesel prices were slashed from midnight on Tuesday, officials said.
While petrol price was reduced by Rs 2.16 per litre, diesel prices was cut by Rs 2.10 a litre.
"Decrease in Selling Price of Petrol by Rs. 2.16/litre (excluding State levies)," state-run Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) said in a statement.
It further said: "Decrease in Selling Price of Diesel by Rs. 2.10/litre (excluding State levies)."
