PM Modi to launch project promising bank account for everyone
New Delhi, Aug 28 (IBNS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is launching on Thursday a project that would ensure a bank account for every Indian household.
It is a pet project of the PM, titled "the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana" or People's Wealth scheme.
Union Commerce and Industry Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said: "We aim to cover each and every household with JanDhanYojna."
The same project will be launched in Pune by Union Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar.
