Mumbai, Aug 1 (UNI) The Rupee on Thursday depreciated 41 paise to 69.20 in early trade on rising demand for US dollars by bankers and importers, dealers at Forex Market said.
The local unit slid due to firm dollar against other world currencies and negative opening in stock market.
The domestic unit recorded intra-day high and low at 69.22 and 69.04 respectively.
Yesterday, it rose 11 paise to 68.78 against the greenback.
