Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Thursday recovered by seven paise to close at 73.10 against the U.S dollar, due to fresh selling of the U.S dollar by bankers, importers and dealers at the Forex market.

The domestic unit rose marginally by two paise to 73.15 in opening trade and finished at 73.10, gaining by 7 paise as compared to its previous close, while the local unit registered days high and low at 73.17 and 73.07.

The Rupee also improved today owing to a weak dollar against other world currencies and weak equity market, the dealers added.
