Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Wednesday bounced back by 12 paise to close at 73.52 against the US Dollar on selling of US Dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.

Sliding by 17 paise on Tuesday, the local unit fell by 5 paise to 73.69 in early trade, later it erased earlier losses and finished positive at 73.52, moving up by 12 paise as compared to its previous close.

The Rupee improved owing to weak Dollar against other world currencies, amid positive stock market, dealers added.

The rupee registered intra days high and low at 73.73 and 73.48 respectively, he added.
