Sensex up by 108 pts

Mumbai, Mar 7 (UNI) The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Thursday rallied by 108 points at 36,681.19 as buying was seen Energy, FMCG, Industrials, Telecom, Utilities and Power stocks.

The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too rose by 26 points to 11,079.95.

The Sensex registered intra-day high and low at 36,749.30 and 36,650.71 respectively.

The Nifty recorded intra-day high and low at 11,077.95 and 11,038.35 points respectively.

The gainers were L & T by 2.82 pc to Rs 1352, M & M by 1.39 pc to Rs 668.70, Tata Motors DVR by 0.85 pc to Rs 94.95 and TCS by 0.69 pc to Rs 2031.15.

The losers were Yes Bank by 2.36 pc to Rs 229.70, VEDL by 2.10 pc to Rs 174.70, Coal India by 1.75 pc to Rs 238.40 and Infosys by 1.45 pc to Rs 721.60.
