The Indian benchmark indices end higher on Thursday

Mumbai, Dec 14 (IBNS): The Indian market closed higher on Thursday ahead of the Gujarat exit poll scheduled later same day, according to media reports.

The BSE Sensex was up 193.66 points at 33,246.70 and NSE Nifty ws up 59.10 points at 10,252.10.

Top gainers on Thursday included HPCL, Dr Reddy;s Labs, Cipla, Tech Mahindra, M&M, Axis Bank and ITC while TCS, GAIL, UPL, L&T, Aurobindo Pharma and Sun Pharma declined.
