5.6 earthquake hits Japan
Tokyo, Feb 28 (IBNS): An earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter Scale hit near the disaster-hit Fukushima nuclear plant in Japan, media reports said.
The epicentre of the quake was located at latitude 37.5 degrees north and longitutde141.4 degrees east.
The quake hit at a depth of 50 kms, as per the Japan Meteorological Agency website.
No casualty has been reported so far.
