7.0 earthquake hits Indonesia
Jakarta, July 28 (IBNS): A strong earthquake measuring 7.0 on the Richter Scale hit Indonesian province of Papua on Tuesday, the USGS said.
The earthquake, with its epicentre located at 230km West of Abepura, hit the country at 21:41:21 UTC, the the US Geological Survey website said.
Several houses have been damaged due to the earthquake.
No casualty has been reported so far.
