At 3.33 lakh new Covid-19 infections, India witnesses marginal drop in cases from yesterday

New Delhi/IBNS: India registered 3.33 lakh cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, which is marginally lower than yesterday.

The new cases have pushed the total tally to 3.92 crore cases, making India the second worst-hit country after the US.

The country's active caseload currently stands at 21,87,205, which is 5.57 per cent.

The recovery rate is presently at 93.18 per cent with 2,59,168 recoveries in the last 24 hours.

The country has also administered 161.92 crore vaccine doses so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive.

More than 79 lakh booster doses have been administered so far.
