Beijing lockdown measures extended to all residential areas
Beijing/UNI: Beijing has notched up its COVID-19 emergency response level to II from III as strict lockdown measures would now have to be followed at all residential communities in the city.
Beijing had previously required the lockdown measures to be followed at residential communities in the vicinity of areas where infections have been detected.
Global Times quoted officials saying that the city's municipal areas are planning nucleic acid tests on residents at key areas while prevention levels in places like nursing houses and schools would also be elevated.
