Coronavirus Outbreak: 15 more tested positive Punjab's Muktsar

Muktsar/UNI: With 15 more COVID-19 cases detected positive, the total number of positive cases have now touched 63 in the district, health department said on Tuesday.

Earlier 49 persons were declared positive out of which one person who was tested positive in Muktsar was shifted to Faridkot as he was a resident of Faridkot.

A spokesperson of Health Department stated that out of the 15 cases, 10 are labourers who came from Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. One is a Hazur Sahib returnee and is already undergoing quarantine period in Muktsar.

Two Malout residents, who are deployed with Punjab Police, too are tested positive.

Another resident of Daula village in Gidderbaha, deployed with Chandigarh police is also tested positive on Tuesday.
