COVID-19 hits Tripura: 13 more BSF jawans including mess worker test positive

Ambassa/UNI:  Thirteen more BSF jawan including a mess worker from the same Jawaharnagar camp of 138 battalion of BSF here were found COVID-19 positive.

13 persons from 138th-Bn #BSF Ambassa found #COVID19 POSITIVE today including 1 Mess worker. Total #COVID19 positive cases in Tripura stands at 42 (2 already discharged, so active cases : 40) There is no POSITIVE case among civilians. Don't Panic,! Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb said in a tweet on Tuesday night.

The fresh infection took the tally of COVID positive cases to 42 whereas the active cases to 40. It created a panic among the inhabitants of the district for possibility of fresh infections to be unearthed.

However, the Chief Minister urged everybody to assist the administration in this fight.
