COVID-19: Twelve Nizamuddin congregation returnees test negative in Nanded

Nanded/UNI: Twelve persons, who returned here after attending the Nizamuddin congregation, have tested COVID-19 negative, authorities informed on Saturday.

Presently, the district has no confirmed cases.

Out of the 14 persons who returned here after attending the congregation, twelve were traced and efforts are underway to track down the remaining two.

Meanwhile, an individual has tested positive for the pandemic in the neighbouring Hingoli district.

In its' sustained efforts to cripple the COVID-19 crisis, Nanded-Waghala Municipal Corporation has procured a pair of fumigation machines worth Rs 1.23 lakh each.

With a storage capacity of 600-litre, disinfectants will be sprayed through these machine across the city.

Superintendent of Police Vijay Kumar Magar took note of several prank videos doing rounds on social media.

He warned the pranksters of stern action as such filmed acts may lead to spread of panic among public.
