New Delhi: Delhiites would experience another hot day on Saturday as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued an 'orange alert'.

The IMD in its forecast has predicted heatwave conditions at many places with severe heatwave at isolated places.

"The sky will remain clear. The maximum temperature will hover around 44 degrees Celsius," the weather office said.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 27 degrees Celsius, a notch above the normal, while the relative humidity at 0830 hours was recorded at 62 per cent.

On Friday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 42.5 degree Celsius, three notches above the normal.

The IMD said similar condition will prevail on Sunday.

However, on Monday it has forecast partly cloudy sky with possibility of thunder lightning.
