Delhi registers 3,567 COVID-19 cases, 10 more deaths

New Delhi/UNI: Delhi registered 3,567 COVID-19 cases and 10 more deaths from the virus in the past 24 hours, a health bulletin said on Saturday afternoon.

The total number of cases came from a total 79,617 Covid tests, comprising 57,296 RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat and 22,321 Rapid Antigen tests, conducted in the past day.

The positivity rate has surged to 4.48 per cent while the total number of cases have increased to 6,72,381 and deaths to 11,060.

There are now 12,647 active cases in the national capital while the number of recovered now stand at 6,48,674, which includes 2,904 fresh recoveries.

As many as 6,569 people are under home isolation while the contaminated zones in the city are 2,618.

On the previous day, 3,594 cases and 14 more deaths were registered.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has ruled out the possibility of another lockdown as of now but asked people to adhere to safety guidelines.
