Dow AgroSciences wins Agrow Awards for Best Industry collaboration with GVK Biosciences
The Agrow Awards honour individuals and companies who have achieved high standards in the crop protection and agrochemical industry.
GVK BIO has been working on several target-based programs for Dow AgroSciences aimed towards discovering novel, early-stage agricultural products.
Spanning more than 7 years, the main objective of the collaboration is to synthesize novel chemical entities which have the potential to be highly efficient insecticides with wide applications in agriculture. Together the two organizations have successfully discovered a series of novel insecticides.
Dr J B Gupta, Chief Scientific Officer of GVK BIO said: “Dow AgroSciences is a valued partner to GVK BIO and the award motivates us to further strengthen the collaboration by delivering innovative solutions with efficient delivery mechanisms and improved cycle times.”
In addition to the above, Dow AgroSciences also won the entry for Best Formulations with Arylex active and was recognized as a finalist for Best Marketing Campaign for “Don’t Let Weeds Consume You”.
