Earthquake hits Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir, tremors felt in North India
New Delhi: Mild tremors were felt across north Indian states on Tuesday.
Indian Meteorological Department website said the epicentre of the quake was at the Pakistan-India Border region and it measured 6.3 on the Richter Scale.
The tremors were felt at 4.31 pm.
The epicentre of the quake was located at 32.9 degrees north latitude and 73.7 degrees east longitude.
According to media reports, tremors were felt in New Delhi, Chandigarh, Kashmir as well as in several Pakistani towns like Islamabad, Lahore and Khyber Pakhtun region.
No calamity has been reported so far.
