Himachal Pradesh: 128 more on Covid ventilator, 2 dead in Kangra

Dharamshala/UNI: Two males including one senior citizen died in Kangra district on Friday due to the lethal novel Coronavirus taking the death toll to 997.

As many as 128 Covid 19 fresh cases tested positive for the lethal novel coronavirus, here pushing the Kangra district caseload to 45,027.

Chief Medical Officer(CMO) of Kangra told UNI that all the 128 fresh cases who have tested positive on Friday have been isolated as per the protocol.

He further said both deaths were reported from Dr Rajinder Prasad Govt Medical College, Tanda.

CMO said there was a decline in the number of active cases to 1,264 on Friday in comparison to 1,374 on Thursday.

CMO added there were 236 recoveries too, pushing the number of recovered patients to 42,762 on Friday compared to 42,526 on Thursday.
