IMD indicates hailstorm or squall likely across India in next few days

New Delhi, Mar 10 (IBNS) India Meteorological Department (IMD) in its bulletin on Thursday has said that thunderstorm accompanied with squall/hailstorm is likely at some places in the country over the next three or four days.
The bulletin has said that an intense western disturbance currently lying over Iran and neighbourhood would affect Indian sub-continent from Friday onwards and various regions are likely to be affected on various days from until coming Monday.
 
The bulletin has indicated rain/snowfall between Mar 11 and 13 over western Himalayan region and rain/thundershowers over north-west India during the same time; it has also indicated rain/thundershowers over central India on Mar 12 and 13 and over eastern India from Mar 13 to 15; rain/thundershower has also been indicated for north eastern states and Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on Mar 14.
