India records 14,306 new COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours

New Delhi: India recorded 14,306 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, as per daat released by the Ministry of Health on Monday, amid fear that the country may witness a spike during the ongoing festive season.

During the same period, 443 people died due to the virus.

The death toll due to the virus now stands at 454712.

Recovery Rate currently stands at 98.18 percent.

18,762 recoveries have been registered in the past 24 hours.

Total Recoveries stands at 3,35,67,367.

Active cases account for less than 1 percent of total cases.

It currently stands at 0.49 percent.

India's Active caseload stands at 1,67,695. It is the lowest figure in 239 days.
