India records 17,070 fresh cases, 23 deaths in past 24 hours
New Delhi: India, the country which has witnessed deadly waves of COVID-19, added 17,070 new cases in the past 24 hours with the daily positivity rate touching 3.40 percent, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Friday.
During the same period, 23 people died due to the viral infection.
India's active caseload currently stands at 1,07,189.
Active cases stand at 0.25 percent.
Recovery Rate currently at 98.55 percent.
14,413 recoveries were also recorded during the same period.
