India records 2,259 COVID-19 cases, 20 people die
New Delhi: India recorded 2,259 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours with the daily positivity rate touching 0.50 percent, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Friday.
During the same period, 20 people died due to the viral infection.
India's Active caseload currently stands at 15,044.
Active cases stand at 0.03 percent.
Recovery Rate currently at 98.75 percent.
2,614 people recovered from the disease in the past 24 hours.
