India records 27,071 COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours, 336 deaths

New Delhi: India, which is one of the worst COVID-19 countries in the world, has recorded 27,071 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, as per Ministry of Health released data on Monday.

The total number of cases registered following the last 24 hours spike now stands at 98,84,100.

During the same period of 24 hours, 336 people have died due to the virus.

The death toll due to the virus now stands at 1,43,355.

So far, 9388159 people have been discharged from hospital.

The recovery rate from the disease now stands at 94.98 per cent.

There are 352586 active cases in the country at present.
