India records 41,157 fresh COVID infections in 24 hours, active cases continue to decline
New Delhi/IBNS: India logged 41,157 new COVID cases in the last 24 hours, which is 7.4 percent higher than Saturday. During the same period, 518 deaths were recorded.
The daily positivity rate stands at 2.13 per cent, less than 3 percent for 27 consecutive days.
The active cases of the virus have declined to 4,22,660, which comprises 1.36 per cent of the total infections.

The national COVID-19 recovery rate stands at 97.31 per cent, the data shows.
Meanwhile, total vaccine doses administered has reached 40.49 crore under the nationwide vaccination drive.
