India records 5,921 new COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours

New Delhi: India registered 5,921 new COVID-19 cases as the daily positivity rate of the country now stands at 0.63 percent, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Saturday.

During the same period, 289 people died due to the virus.

India's Active caseload currently stands at 63,878.

Active cases stand at 0.15 percent.

Recovery Rate currently stands at 98.65 percent.

11,651 people recovered from the disease in the past 24 hours.
