India records lowest COVID-19 tally in six months, 862 cases registered in past 24 hours
New Delhi: India on Tuesday recorded the lowest COVID-19 tally in six months as the country registered 862 cases in the past 24 hours, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Tuesday.
The country had recorded 1,334 cases on Monday.
The country also observed Diwali without curbs for the first time in two years.
India's active caseload currently stands at 22,549.
Active cases stand at 0.05 percent.
Recovery Rate currently at 98.76 percent.
1,503 people recovered from the disease during the same period.
