India registers 1,94,720 new COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours, positivity rate touches 11.05 pct

New Delhi: India registered yet another daily spike in cases as 1,94,720 new COVID-19 cases were registered in the past 24 hours, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Wednesday.

Daily positivity rate now stands at 11.05 percent.

During the same period, 442 people lost their lives due to the virus.

The country has registered 4,868 Omiron cases so far.

India's Active caseload currently stands at 9,55,319.

Active cases stand at 2.65 percent.

Recovery Rate currently at 96.01 percent.

60,405 recoveries in the last 24 hours increases Total Recoveries to 3,46,30,536.

1,94,720 new cases in the last 24 hours.
