India registers 21,257 new COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours

New Delhi: India, a nation that witnessed a deadly second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic earlier this year, registered 21,257 new cases in the past 24 hours, as per the Ministry of Health released data on Friday.

Active cases in the country now stand at 0.71 percent.

India's Active caseload stands at 2,40,221.

It is the lowest figure in 205 days.

Recovery Rate currently stands at 97.96 percent.

24,963 recoveries registered in the last 24 hours.
