India registers 38310 new COVID-19 cases, 490 deaths

New Delhi: India registered  38,310 new COVID-19 infections in the past 24 hours, as per Ministry of Health released data.

The country also recorded 490 deaths due to the virus during the same period.

The total death toll due to the disease in the country is at present 1,23,097.

There are a total 5,41,405 active cases in the country at present.

It marked a significant drop of 20,503 cases in the country in the past 24 hours.

In the same period, 76,03,121 people have been cured from COVID-19.
