India registers 44,877 new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hrs
New Delhi/IBNS: India recorded 44,877 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said on Sunday.
As per the bulletin issued by the Ministry, the total caseload rose to 4,26,31,421, while the death toll jumped to 5,08,665 with 684 succumbing to the virus during thie last 24 hours.
India's active caseload currently stands at 5,37,045.
The recovery rate presently stands at 97.55 per cent with 1,17,591 recoveries in the last 24 hours.
As per the statement, 75.07 crore total tests have been conducted so far while 172.81 crore vaccine doses were administered till date.
