India registers 50,848 new COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours

New Delhi: After registering a significant decline in daily count, India on Wednesday recorded a spike as 50,848 new cases were registered in the past 24 hours, as per Ministry of Health released data.

India's Active Caseload declines to 6,43,194. It is the lowest figure in 82 days.

India also recorded 1358  deaths in the past 24 hours.

The total death toll due to the disease now stands at 390660.

The recovery rate from the disease now stands at  96.56%.

There are 643194 active cases in the country at present.

So far, 28994855 people have recovered from COVID-19.
 
India administered 54.24 lakh vaccine doses in the last 24 hours.

 29.46 Cr. Vaccine Doses administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive.

 68,817 patients recovered during the last 24 hours.

 Daily recoveries continue to outnumber the Daily New Cases for the 41st consecutive day.

Daily positivity rate at 2.67%, less than 5% for 16 consecutive days.
