India reports 2,628 Covid-19 cases in 24 hours

New Delhi/IBNS: India reported 2,628 new Covid-19 cases while the toll went up by 18 in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said Thursday morning.

In the same span of time, 2,167 Covid-19 patients have recovered from the deadly disease.

The active caseload, which forms 0.04% of the total cases, now stands at 15,414.

The recovery rate is presently at 98.75%.

Under the national vaccination drive, 192.82 anti-Covid vaccine doses have so far been administered in the vast country of 1.3 billion.
