India witnesses spike as 2,067 new COVID-19 cases registered in past 24 hours
New Delhi: India registered yet another day of spike in COVID-19 cases, 2,067 new cases were registered in the past 24 hours, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Wednesday.
It marked a 66 percent spike in cases in comparison to the daily count registered on the previous day.
India's Active caseload currently stands at 12,340.
Active cases stand at 0.03 percent.
Recovery Rate currently at 98.76 percent.
1,547 people recovered from the disease in the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile, 40 people died due to COVID-19 during the same period.
