India's active Covid-19 caseload drops to 4,03,248, lowest in 4 months

New Delhi/IBNS: India's total active Covid-19 caseload dropped to 4,03,248, the lowest in 137 days amid registration of fresh infections of 36,011 in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry bulletin said on Sunday.

This is the lowest number of active cases since July 21.

India's total confirmed cases at present stands as 96,44,222.

The Asian country recorded 482 deaths in the last 24 hours taking the fatality toll to 1,40,182.

A total of 91,00,792 people have recovered from the deadly disease which resulted in the recovery rate of 94.37% as of Sunday.
