Maharashtra: Aurangabad registers 271 new COVID-19 cases
Aurangabad,Maharashtra/UNI: With the highest ever single day spike of 271 coronavirus cases on Sunday here the tally surged to 5037.
According to district administration sources, 173 new cases were detected from Aurangabad Municipal Corporation area and 98 from rural pockets of district.
The fresh cases include 161 males and 110 females.
At present 2234 active patients were undergoing treatment and 247 patients lost their lives to the virus, the sources said.
The sources added that 110 cured patients were discharged taking the number of cured to 2556.
