Over 1.50 cr COVID-19 vaccine doses still available with states: Health Ministry

New Delhi/UNI: More than 1.50 crore (1,50,28,186) balance and unutilized COVID-19 vaccine doses are still available with the states and Union Territories, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said on Friday.

A total of 47,00,000 more will be received by them within the next three days, it added.

So far, the Centre has provided 30.54 crore (30,54,32,450) doses to the states. Of this, the total consumption, including wastages, stands at 29,04,04,264 doses, as per data available this morning.

Meanwhile, India recorded 51,667 new cases of Covid-19 during the past 24 hours pushing the country's infection caseload to 3,01,34,445, while the death toll soared to 3,93,310 with 1,329 more fatalities, as per the Ministry's data.

Till now, a total of 30,79,48,744 people have been administered COVID-19 vaccines since January 16, of which 60,73,912 were inoculated in the past 24 hours.
