Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Kendra inaugurated at Ramakrishna Mission Seva Pratishthan, Shishu Mangal Hospital

Kolkata, Feb 23 (IBNS): To provide cheaper and quality medicines at an affordable price to the people, a Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP).

Kendra was inaugurated at the Ramakrishna Mission Seva Pratishthan, Shishu mangal Hospital in Kolkata on Friday.

Making quality medicines available at affordable prices for all, particularly the poor and disadvantaged people is the main objective of the PMBJP.

There are presently 44 Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Kendras running in different districts of West Bengal. While there are around 3174 Kendras operating across the country. Any individual entrepreneur, who opens PMBJP, would be provided an incentive up to Rs. 2.5 lakhs.
