PSLV-C31: PM Modi wishes scientists

New Delhi, Jan 20 (IBNS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday spoken to the scientists at ISRO(Indian Space Research Organisation, congratulating them on successful launch of PSLV C31 and precisely putting IRNSS 1E in the orbit.

"Congratulating the dynamism and determination of ISRO and our scientists on successful launch of PSLV C31 and putting IRNSS 1E in orbit precisely," Modi said.

Spoke to the scientists at ISRO and congratulated them on their accomplishment today. Our scientists keep making us proud", the Prime Minister tweeted.

ISRO's Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle, PSLV-C31, successfully launched the 1425 kg IRNSS-1E, the fifth satellite in the Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System (IRNSS) Wednesday morning from Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR, Sriharikota.

This is the thirty second consecutively successful mission of PSLV and the eleventh in its 'XL' configuration.
